Shiatsu is a Japanese method of treatment that has its roots in Chinese medicine and philosophy. Shiatsu means finger pressure in Japanese. The meridians (energy pathways) are treated with light pressure (hands, elbows, knees and feet). This balances the flow of energy in the body and activates the self-healing powers.
