sex.bewusst creates space to engage with their sexuality, share experiences and empower each other. The vision is for women to gain confidence and courage, lose shame and stand up for their needs. sex.bewusst wants to shape sexual identities and promote positive access to body and sex.

Together with the sex therapist Nina Zimmermann, the concept and the content were generated. I conceived the visual identity and visual communication and curated the workshops. The whole experience was a big part of the experience, the smell, the light, the sound, the drink, the food and the space shaped the whole experience. Female artists were invited to show their work and thus give an accent through art. The association aims to realise artistic projects and initiatives in the fields of performance, dance, music, literature and visual arts.

Circles

The frauen.kreis is the core, the circle is modular in 4 modules. These 4 modules take place twice a year. In addition, special special circles are organised on specific topics, such as gender-crossing circles on communication, circles where spring and friendships are celebrated together, and much more.

hüllen.befreit

Hüllen.befreit was conceived as a workshop with photographer Joséphine Weber. We explored feelings like shame and pride, how they come and go, and how they are difficult to influence. The best way to deal with them is by enduring and letting go. That’s why we wanted to shed our coverings and get to the root of shame by holding on to each other. Josephine Weber has been working with unveiled forms and liberated moments for some time, and she helped us capture the images. We were naked as a collective, moved as a collective, and shared the experience. The images also belong to the collective.
